Bob Schecter
Principal officer of DMI Works – a Development and Construction Management Group, Bob has enjoyed a long and strong history in the construction and development industry.
A career spanning over 4 decades, beginning with a 4-year apprenticeship school in New York City while working as a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Union. Working in Boston, Connecticut, and New Jersey and landing in Florida in 1980, and obtaining his Licensed Florida Certified General Contractor’s License in 1983.
During the 1990’s he gradually moved from construction to development, working his way up to Executive Vice President of Development at one of Miami’s oldest, largest and most prominent construction and development firms.
Over the course of his career, he’s been responsible for the construction and development of millions of square feet of, industrial, institutional, residential, educational, commercial and retail projects throughout Florida.
Knowledge is having the right answer. Intelligence is asking the right question.

We understand relationships, and have spent years developing and nurturing the right ones, with the right people, in order to facilitate a project from inception to completion. Having the right players not only makes for a winning team, but a successful development as well.
